Bearys Passion For Calligraphy

The Bearys ancestry traces its root to Yemen. Yemini merchants sailed through the Arabian Sea and disembarked at Mangalore as early as before Hijri era to trade in spices. Over the years they settled here and perhaps passed on their penchant for Calligraphy. It is no wonder then that the Bearys family is passionate about calligraphy and has imbibed the traits of a calligrapher.

Bearys Group has held a special bond with Calligraphy right from its inception in 1981. The Group's capabilities, dedication and value system wholly and artfully reflect this ancient revered art. The group identifies itself and has build its reputation on seven core values i.e. Integrity, Mastery, Sustainability, Innovation, Collaboration, Commitment and Empowerment all of which is an integral part and the cornerstone of Calligraphy.

About Us

At Institute of Indo-Islamic Art and Culture you are invited to meet, learn and discover the Arabic Calligraphy and Islamic arts. We are concerned with restoring this heritage, starting from providing basic knowledge to delivering specialized courses to who are willing to do furthermore. Through a team of calligrapher elites, professional artists, sharing their experiences and talents, we organize seminars, events and provide workshops, aiming to disclose this heritage and reveal the potential beyond its related industries to whom are interested.
